Mrs. Smith was my daughter’s (Ira) first grade teacher at South Loop Elementary, Chicago.  

 

When the pandemic hit, she was quick enough to seamlessly move to the online platform. And she, I would say, mastered it in no time. 

 

She is extremely organized, patient and prepared for all the challenges that online teaching brings. 

 

My daughter is currently attending her Summer Club and as a parent I am just so glad that we signed up for them. 

 

There is never a sense of chaos in any of her Zoom online classes. 

 

Her classes run so smoothly, kids get to talk, interact with each other, they are heard, and she makes sure that everyone gets a chance and is encouraged to share, comment while they learn new concepts. 

 

Her study packets are organized and my daughter just has to join the meeting with the designated link and the respective packet for that day. That way there is no confusion of last minute material or papers. 

 

Her teaching skills are impeccable even on an online platform. She is approachable and my daughter never hesitates to approach her and ask any question to clear her doubts. 

 

We wish Mrs. Smith was Ira’s second grade teacher too!
